New material hydrophilic polymer peoz poly (2-ethyl-2-oxazoline)

   Peoz poly (2-ethyl-2-oxazoline) is a new material that can replace peg polyethylene glycol. Peoz is more stable and has more advantages than peg. In the information introduction of sigma, it is clearly stated that peoz can be used as a new polymer instead of PEG derivatives. Peoz has higher stability of main chain than peg, higher substitution rate of active groups and pH sensitivity.

1: Although peg is widely used in basic biomedicine as a standard, it still has some shortcomings and limitations, such as "low dispersion", "limited biocompatibility", "limited biometrics" and so on. For example, anti peg antibodies were found in patients who had never used peg drugs, which accelerated the blood clearance of PEG. Another disadvantage of PEG is that the polyether main chain of PEG is easy to be oxidized and degraded.

Peoz has the principle of pH sensitivity: peoz contains tertiary amide group, which and its corresponding resonance structure are easy to combine with hydrogen ions in the solution system and form hydrogen bonds with other tertiary amide groups between or within peoz molecules. Under acidic conditions, the formation of a large number of hydrogen bonds will destroy the core-shell structure of peoz micelles, so as to reduce the stability of micelles and release drugs.

Poly (2-ethyl-2-oxazoline), peoz, as a high molecular long-chain polymer, has the advantages of good water solubility, flexibility and biocompatibility. It has passed the certification of the U.S. Food and drug administration. Peoz is pH sensitive and can promote the rapid release of drugs from liposomes or nano micelles in the micro acid environment of tumor tissue. Peoz is equivalent to peg in inhibiting protein adsorption and playing a long cycle role.

Poly (2-ethyl-2-oxazoline), peoz material, has six characteristics:

6: Peoz has pH sensitivity and phospholipid or hydrophobic chain, and can prepare pH sensitive liposomes or micelles
